We've not decided what to have yet. Might have a look through that and get some ideas.

Jonathon - what was yours?

We don't do dancing - unless it's very silly and in our own home!

Is first dance romantic, or an ice breaker to get everyone laughing ... or is that just me?

We are having D.Beddingfield "I'm Never Gonna Leave Your Side" BUT we are asking the DJ to quickly follow it up with The Darkness "Love Is Only a Feeling" (also toying with the idea of Both playing Airguitar to this!!)

Oh no!!! Anuffa DB fan ;-)))

We played the Darkness 'I believe in a thing called love' once we were pronounced man & wife

When I say 'played' I meant it was on a CD

Wow Kezzer.. thats definitely a Groovy first dance by the sounds of things!

We've got a few songs in mind for our first dance, one of which no one has probably ever heard of, but when me and Jonathan were first going out, he texted me a romantic few words (I thought they were his own words too!) .. I later found out they were the lyrics to the song we 'might' have as our first dance...

Our first dance was actually Al Green Let's Stay Together, a bit standard I know but has always been one of my favourite songs as long as I can remember.

Ours was 'No one Can' by Marillion - but one of my best friends sang it for us. If you do a search on groovy I am sure J has posted the lyrics to it somewhere.

We had Aerosmith

It was 'I don't wanna miss a thing' mind, but you should see people's faces when we said the group name first

I'd have Lonestar's 'Amazing' if we did it again, it's a lovely song

Our on is not on the list also...thanks be to God!!! Personally I like the idea that our song was a first song was somewhat unique.... as was the rest of the music on the night!

Default Springsteen fan

My H2B and I are having Bruce Springsteens "Happy" play for our first dance. It's not on the list, but it's an awesome song. For anyone who loves Bruce it's very fitting for a wedding dance. There really are too many to choose from these days, but once you find that one that fits your relationship you'll know it. I also think it's nice to have a song played that not many people have ever heard before. It's something different.

To be honest Niddy, right this second, I have no idea who sings 'the song' - the CD is somewhere downstairs though... its not well known though & I am guessing no one will ever have heard of her...

There is a possibility of us having Always by Bonjovi.. when we were dating I used to (and still do) do the actions "what I'd give to run my fingers through your hair, touch your lips, and hold you near..."
