Hi Jo. :)

I met my fiance on the Iron Maiden website which he runs for the band. I was a a lowly fan chatting in the forum and he was bored one day and started to talk to me. He added me to his ICQ list on August 26th 2000 and within two weeks we were smitten. It was tough because he lived in Australia, me in London and we didn\'t think anything could come of it. We were online every day for hours, on the phone every night for atleast an hour - often alot longer - took piccies on our web cams, had web conferences, anything to keep in touch. As it happened we got lucky because he had to come over in October as the band were touring. So we got to meet for the first time on October 28th 2000, had the best two weeks of our lives together, and then said goodbye again. :(

We carried on as we had done before, knowing that we were definately meant to be with each other, and in February he flew over to be with me for Valentines Day. :) This time he satyed with myself and Mum and Dad, so they got to know him properly, as did all of my mates. As I said goodbye to him at Heathrow for a second time I decided I could wait no longer and made my mind up to get out here asap. I flew out on May 5th, arrived May 7th, and we got engaged on May 10th! (He had asked me long before that though!) We are to be married on Friday 28th June 2002. :D

hellooooo again,

i met my H2B simon at our local social club!!(sad i know! :P),i was working behind the bar at 16 years of age and simon was going out with one of the other girls who worked there,anyway they split up and he asked me out which i accepted. we went out a few times but i dumped him as i felt he was a bit toooo over possesive!!!!! :o.

in april 1998 he asked me if i would like to go to the university summer ball with him which again i accepted as ROBBIE WILLIAMS WAS SINGING THERE !!!!!!!!! that was on 15th may 1998 and we got engaged on 3 july 1998 on my 17th birthday, quick i know but we both knew that we would marry each other one day. and as you all say the rest is history.

we have bought a house together and are getting married on 27th july 2002 and i cant wait! :D :D :D
im soooooooooooooo excited.

i met simon - obviously a popular name for grooms to be :) - at a really divey restaurant pub thing called Ma Hubbards - it does meals for £1.99 and they all involve chips. We had both finished our Alevels and were desparate for money so we accepted there measly £3 an hour. He turned out to have been to school with some of my frends (and hate them!) and when i was 7 i used to go to Sunday School with his two cousins! And he lived just up my road! Small world...
Now we live together in leeds

I met Julian when we worked in the same hotel in Blackpool he asked to borrow my trolley!!!! :P and that was April 2nd \'95 ( remember the date because I always say we should have met the day before!!)
So here we are after 2 kids and the relationship being on and off in the first few years we\'ve finally grown up (well a lttle bit :P) and we\'re getting married next May.

I met Jamie when I started working for the MET Police in Nov 1994. We became immediate friends but I actually fancied someone else in the office at the time!! Little did I know that Jamie had the hots for me, but after six months, he won me over and we started going out on 24th May 1995! We have been together ever since, and he finally proposed in Oct 2000, although we didn\'t tell anyone until Christmas Day, which was a lovely surprise for everyone!

By the time we get married, we will have been together for 7 years!

I first met Matt in a Pub. He new all about me already though. As at the time I was working for an agricultural mechanics where he had worked before and he had friends there. He was quite drunk that night, he stole a cigarette from me. Then later on some girls he knew were in the pub were being all loud and one of them shouted its my birthday so he gave them a kiss. I then turned round to him and said so wheres my kiss :D. Later on we met up in the local nightclub and spent the whole time together. We did the swap phonenumbers etc.

The following Friday while I was working he turned up at the yard (he was getting his old job back). We spoke and arranged to meet that Saturday night in town and as they say the rest is history.

Six years later, We bought a house and then I couldn\'t wait any longer so I asked him to marry me and he just said ok then. ;)

Sorry waffled on a bit there.

nice to know someone was born the same day as me!!!!! but i think your a bit older than me as i was born in 1981!!!(i know im still a little pup really aint i!!! ;) )
whats your h2bs name is it simon aswell??????

my plans are coming along great the only thing left to organise is shoes/veil and lingerie oh and the gifts for every bloody one!!!!!!! (total nightmare!!)

I known I\'m a wee bit late answering this, but I met my man when he wanted to be a lodger in the house I\'d just bought.

I phoned on the Monday to offer him the room, but his secretary \"forgot\" to give him the message, so I gave the room to the next person (I\'d interviewed five people) on my list.

Jim then called me on the Tuesday to find out if he had the room, I told him that I\'d asked his secretary to give me a call ASAP (he later told her off an awful lot!), and as he had not returned my call that I\'d given the room to someone else!

Anyway, he said \"No hard feelings - let\'s got for a drink\" and the rest is 13 years of history!

I met my h2b, Justin, at the \'open stage night\' at my local pub. He\'s been writing and singing songs in assorted bands since he was 12, but this was his first time playing at the Tap and Tin. I was with my best friend and it was payday, and I didn\'t have to go to work the day after. Bad, bad combination! Justin sang a few songs but because I liked them and liked his voice (and looks :D ) I started \'heckling\' him to do songs by Placebo (he sounds like the singer) or David Bowie (my mates favourite). Justin finally gave up trying to sing over us (we were clapping too) and said \'alright then, what do you want?\' and we shouted a few back...the audience were watching all this in bemusement. In the end, he said \' well, I think I can remember how to do this one...\' and sang \'Five Years\' (which he picked because it\'s off an album and only a Bowie fan would know - and love - it. We sang along - loudly - and everyone enjoyed it, so he came over to talk to us later. Me being me, I flirted with his best friend Mark (our best man!) and invited them to come to a nightclub with me and a few friends. On the walk there (half hour or so) Justin & I chatted all the way - we ended up dropping way behind the others - but I apparantly talked a lot about my boyfriend Dan. Justin was quite disappointed, but was going back to University three days later, so didn\'t worry too much. We DID exchange mobile numbers and promise to text each other - and although we dboth now insist we did, neither of us actually got them! A year and a half later, again at the tap & Tin\'s open mic night, we met up again and got chatting (in that kind of \'sitting in the corner by yourselves & ignoring everything else\' kind of way) and I referred to Dan as my ex - even though he officially wasn\'t - yet...naughty, huh?!? A few days later, Justin invited me to see his band and after he came off stage, I told him I always had had a problem with singers - I always wanted to go out with them...so did he want to go out with me? He said yes...quite quickly. So then we held hands...Two months later we got engaged, by five months we were living together, and we\'re getting married August 20th 2002 and are very very excited!

I met Jack in the Bar where we both worked. He first saw me bending over a table with a cloth in my hand (not something he has forgotton in a hurry)

He grabbed me in the bar office and pretended to snog me (you know where you snog your hand) and there was a blond with big boobs who was jealous and told everyone we were going out with each other (not true)

I totally fancied the arse off him and kept on trying to lure him back to my university flat with tea and toast, and kept flirting with other blokes in the bar to try and make him jealous. He then kept flirting with girls to make ME jealous.

We ended up finally snogging when we had a late stop on after work and the manager (also a perv) soaked me in water and I had to take my top off and Jack offered me his. We then ended up snogging with me wearing his jeans. Then we went to get chips and we had a snog with a bag of chips in our hands (last of the old romantics eh)

He didn;t phone when he said he would (if only I knew then how forgetful he is about things) and when we went out after work on the friday night he came back to mine for tea and toast. We talked all night and have only spent about two nights apart since then. The rest as they say is HISTORY!!!

I met Tim at Uni. He was on my course and he was always late for lectures. He also lived with a mate I knew from school, so I was round his flat quite a lot. He was going out with someone else so I had to wait for them to break up! I used to borrow his course work and copy stuff when I hadn't done my own work. He got me through my degree when I wanted to just give up.

We moved in together for our final year - and everyone thought we were making a big mistake!

The friend he lived with stopped being friendly when we moved in together - which was a real shame.

We have been together for over 5 years now.

i met phil when i was dating his best friend, i was about 17 and it was basically the first thorugh my mates door would go out with me and the last one would go out with my other mate, so i got scott and she got phil,

but as we all know it ends happily.

in the erm pub phil couldnt stop looking at me and his mate was getting jealous.

phils a bit handsome you know mmmmmm

oh where was i...............

phils mate and i dated from nov to jan when i went ot phils 21st bday party and scott and i fell out and phil and i got together. weve not been apart since.

his mate is now our best man.

I first came across Martin on 16th July 2001 and it was on............. THE INTERNET! He sent me a message on Odigo instant messenger saying 'Hello Me' as that was my sad ID lol We met up two weeks later and have been together ever since. He first proposed to me 2 weeks after meeting up and I said yes straight away and have never looked back since.

It is now 5 weeks until the wedding and things are going great, I sit and worry sometimes what would have happened if I hadn't been online that day, or if I had chosen to ignore his messages. But something about his message told me he was the one for me, I knew this even before I met him.

Yay for the internet!
