I think it's a waste of money to be completely honest, unless you're spending mega-bucks!

This is my second wedding and nothing went wrong first time and seems okay this time too.

Prices are quite reasonable tho - what you could do is go to the newsagents and pick up a wedding mag, give it a quick shake and you'll get loads of leaflets on insurance!!

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

For £50, I thought it was daft not to ( and we are by no-means spending mega bucks!!)

Can't recommend anyone as I haven't had to make a claim yet, but we're using Wedding Plan and it's £45? - they're the ones that fall out of magazines!!

We're using Wedding Plan too.

I'd actually recommend it. We were originally hoping to get married last summer but couldn't get a slot so delayed it until this summer.

Good job too as we were involved in a car crash and I had to have 5 months off work. Not being horrible but you never know

We're using wedding plan too. There are so many things that could go wrong e.g. venue going bust, death etc.

We weighed up the pros and cons of the companies listed in Claire's thread a couple of pages back and Wedding plan's was definitely the best.

We're using Cornhills wedding insurance - not sure what its called - might be the wedding plan that everyone else is talking about. Think ours cost around £42 - and think it is well worth it for peace of mind. I'm sure in most cases nothing goes wrong - but if your photographer buggers up or something this will cover you!

i think we are going to take out the same insurance as when my mum got married many many years ago the photographer gave them the proofs to look at and then he ran away so all they have is proofs of the photos.

i would die if anything like that happened. also i am soo clumsy when im doing stuff.
