OOh, Claire I lived in Newport for 3 years while I was at Uni. Beautiful part of the world. :)
Karen that looks lovely. :) There were some beautiful big houses and the like (including Osborne House) in the Isle of Wight, but they were just so expensive!! :o I think we found the best of all worlds with ours. :)

Hi,
I\'m getting married at Dunkeld Cathedral (Nr Perth, Scotland) and having the reception at The Birnam House Hotel website - www.birnamhousehotel.co.uk (you can see a bit of the cathedral on the hotel website under Dunkeld and Birnam. Half of it is in ruins (photo opportunity) and the other half is up and running)
We totally fell in love with the Baronial Hall - the photos just don\'t do it justice :D
Both the locations are wonderful and only 10 mintues apart! Which means not much time in the car together :( with the champagne :P

It\'s the Imperial Hotel in Torquay - looking over the bay, the approach isn\'t great, but the views are stunning and the room (marrying in Haldon room, reception in Regency room) are lovely. :)

Looks fab Victoria! I think it makes such a difference when venues have web sites, it\'s great to be able to keep looking at them over and over. :) :D

Your hotel says you can\'t have the evening do there - where\'re you doing that bit then, or are you not??
