BRIDESMAID NIGHTMARE!!!! (Update!) - Wedding Forum

Not sure if the thread is still around but the nightmare is kind of over....... (I'll try & find the thread & put a link on here.....)

She's confessed to not being Pregnant!!!! Mind you it took confrontation from another friend! She then came round and told my mum! Her biggest worry is whether or not she was still going to be my bridesmaid, I'm not keen BUT I'm going to speak to Matt tonight for his thoughts etc, I'd say it's going to be a NO NO!!!

She told my mum that she didn't want to see Matt so at least I know I won't see here until at least Monday or Tuesday PLUS it give me & Matt the weekend to write the "Dear Hayley, You're no longer our Bridesmaid" letter!

At least it's happened now BEFORE any dresses were tried on or ordered etc

What a strange girl! Sounds like she is jealous of whats giong on in your life and needs some attention - hence the lie about the pregnancy.

But the other lies just sound so pointless. She obviously needs to talk to someone!

Last thing you probably need as you are organising your wedding - but seeing as you have been friends for so long maybe it would be best to have a confrontational conversation with her and try and find out what the matter is.

I'm sure it will all work out in the end, and I hope that she doesn't upset you too much and get you too down.

I hate to say it Heather but I think you are much better off without her.

She sounds jealous and scared, thinking she has lost you to Matt for good.

Invite her to the wedding as a guest if you want her there but don't allow her to drive you nuts by keeping her as a bridesmaid - no way.

If you need to talk or a shoulder to cry on, you have us!

I am so happy things have worked out for you!

I had to deliberate over whether to have my best mate as a bridesmaid, but I decided in the end that if we kept our distance on the day, we would both enjoy it a little more.
