Oh my god, is that all you're paying?? That sounds very reasonable, unlike mine

I had my fitting yesterday and not much needs to be done. They were orginally going to take up the hem (would have been $100) but right before I left I said "is the waist tight enough?" and sure enough, it wasn't. They pulled it up and pinned it and I no longer needed to hem it, hurrah! It would have looked less good too because there's embroidery on the skirt and the hem would have come right up to it. I told them they could pull the skirt under my arm pits if need be, if it would save me money

So instead they're going to move two tiny hooks to make the skirt tighter for the bargain price of $50! I've got a corset back on the bodice and the ties are very long, so she snipped them off and is going to sew them in to make spaghetti straps, that's $20. I'm having cups sewn in so I don't need a bra, $15. And the bustle is $50. So $135 total, for modifications I could do myself if I could sew and was brave enough.
