Default off to buy a tiara now...

I kind of figured that if I'm going to jabber on to the hairdresser next week about what I want doing with my hair, then it might be easier if I actually had some kind of tiara with me to play with.

I've not seen one I like yet though (although there's a funky Dulce ANgel one in this month's wedding and home! ) so I think I might take a trip to BHS and Accessorize and see what they've got...

I want one that sits in the half way place, but they mostly seem to either be alice bands or sit on top types. Any hints?

This isn't actually as O/T as I expected it to be when I began. Apologies!!

Later....

I haven't made an appt yet, so chill!!

I desperately need a haircut though so thought I'd have a chat about wedding hair while I'm there and I thought it would be easier if I had a tiara to help illustrate!!

I've bought the BHS gold and beady one for those of you in the know!! Quite simple, but the diamante ones look like pimples on a pea so this is marginally better, you never know, I may keep it!!

Hi Roz,

My hair is very similar to yours (in the picture you posted) but about 4 or 5 inches longer and I'll be wearing my hair down with the tiara just keeping it back from my face. I've spent ages looking for the right tiara (didn't want alice band or crown type thing) and have gone for this one. Can't wait to see iti n the flesh and try it on!!!!

Just found the web site for the tiara I bought when I was home - It's by Linzi Jay and I think it's this one (although I don't remember pearls....but the one I saw was silver and I'm getting it in Gold. It better not have pearls!!!)

Oh I'm obsessed about the topic of tiaras at the moment as now i've got my dress I desperately need one!!!!!

Looks great that tiara Roz! Its amazing how much of a difference in price they all are. I fancy a swarovski crystal, silver tiara - but seem to be a bit pricey

no I didn't, but I think you probably can...
Mum and I were shoe shopping in Exeter and I fell in love. I wanted something quite "big" and that went round the sides as otherwise they look like a pimple on a pea on me.

And, I know it's rather crass but, it was only £40!! SO I think I've done quite well and got a lot of tiara for my money!!
