As you can tell from the title I'm another new person I heard about this site while on a 'rival' which has had a bit of bad press lately so I thought I'd come and see what its all about
I only joined on Tuesday and it is such a fantastic site!!
Those piccies are called avators (or summat like that) and you can add a piccie that you already have by going into your profile and attaching the pic.
I think it is also covered in the 'help' forum just in case this sounds like gobbledegook!

You change your Avatar (picture) by going to your profile, then Edit Options and the last option is to change your avatar. Press "Change Avatar" and it gives you an option to use your own and then you find your picture on your hard drive, double click on it and hey presto! (hopefully). Your picture will need to be 80x80 pixels, if you don't know how to resize things, then PM me and I'll send you my email address and you can send it to me for resizing. Similarly, if you want help in finding a picture, let me know what you're looking for and I'll find it for you.
The "Help" section (buttons on the left) is very good for help on other things to do with the board as well.
If you have any probs adding your avatar please email it to me - bev@mygroovywedding.com - and I shall add it for you. You can pick anything you like, it just has to be no bigger than 80x80 pixels - thats usually the stumbling block most people have, resizing the image.
I also defected from a rival site last weekend (When there was no censorship and a few things came to light), I also havn't worked out how to do the picture things, and have to read all the replies to yours again.............. will look out for a new picture under your name.
