Hello

Did anyone get the March/April issue of you and your wedding - the one with the free book called "Honeymoon"

I just have to say I thought it was a very good read - it made me want to cuddle my other half alot.

Did anyone else enjoy it a smuch as I did?

I am saving that book for when I have finished Diary Of A Mad Bride. It is quite scary as my life seem's to mirror Amy's at the moment! I had a huuuuge bust up with my h2b over something silly and she did the same... Spoooooooky, lol

I've read both those books and I couldn't put them down!

I thought that 'Diary of a mad bride' was better, as I was really sad when the bride cheated on her new hubbie....I don't think my H2B would ever take me back if I did that!!

ui don't think I'd even consider it...especially not on my hen night either. id on't want to jeopardise what we have......

I got my copy in Tesco's months ago. They should still have it. If not, and you want to buy online, try Amazon, I have heard they are pretty reliable.

I started reading Honeymoon, but it's depressed me so far. I just don't like Amy Jenkins' style of prose or something - you know when you can't get into a book? Or maybe it's because my lifestyle is so far removed from the book's character that I don't like it - but then I did watch This Life, so I know how sex obsessed this would be...

I preferred "Lucy Sullivan is getting married" myself...

I read 'Honeymoon' on holiday last yr - then i got a free copy in a Bridal Mag!!!! It IS depressing - and I don;t like Jenkins' style either - can't believe she wrote the wonderful "This Life"

Haven't read "Mad Bride" - must get a copy!

I was a bit shocked that they gave it away with a wedding mag, to be honest - seems a bit cynical for that, from reading the bit on the back.

Suppose I should read it & see if it is - but I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like her writing.

Hey - should we start up a book club & critique wedding related books? Like we have time to read boks!! (especially after the important time we spend on MGW)

It is a hard book to get into - but once you do - you want to know how it ends up - though yuou do feel like giving the B2B a good slap around the face.

But it does have a happy ending ( I can't believe he took her back though!)

Diary of a mad bride is just so funny! I read that even before we started planning the wedding (well planning it officially) I laughed so much, must try and find it and see how my wedding is planning out in reflection to the book!

I just finished Diary Of A Mad Bride and thought it was fantastic. For me it was bit hard to get into at the begining, but couldn't put it down in the end!
