glandular fever
hi all
docs seem to think i may have glandular fever
i have got to go for blood tests next monday and she has given me some antibiotics - but just read that they can give glandular fever sufferers a nasty rash....
sorry for the obvious attention seeking - just feeling a little low

Try to get as much rest as you can - don't push yourself to do things if you don't feel well enough.
You can hinder your recovery if you exert yourself too much

Aw hun........
I really feel for you....
I've had glandular fever three times in the last three years, and I know how hard it hits you. Just make sure you get loads of rest and take it easy. Oh, and no kissing I'm afraid! Lol
I had anti-biotics when I had it and they never caused me any problems. I guess it depends on the person really.
Hope you feel better soon.
Fran

POor thing, I've had it as well and didn't get a rash. The most important thing is to rest and not do too much too soon. xx

You poor thing. I've had this too and it laid we out for weeks. The perils of kissing boys - I ask you!
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I've had Glandular Fever too
Its not nice at all. I think I was about 15 when I had it. Kissing disease some call it!
I had a rash before I took any medication to help though. It was horrible....
Get well soon honey, and get plenty of rest! x
