productive week - Wedding Forum

I had this week off work so thought i would get stuck in to our wedding plans and get as much sorted as we could.

This week we managed to.

Choose our wedding rings, we didnt order them as the samples were out of stock and we want to see them on before we order them.

We booked our piper

Sorted out the flowers, well did mine and the bridesmaids, just need to go back nearer the time to see how many button holes etc we need

Organised the clothes for the guys

Bought most of the attendants gifts

Made up the invites

Bought the favours

Met with the Minsiter

Bought our table cameras.

so its been a busy, but fab week

Lynne - you've been so busy! And you are so much more organised than we are.

Still to sort flowers (got an appointment with florist next week) and haven't decided whether we're having a piper or not (the venue is really pushing this, but I'm not convinced it'll go with our day...)

Glad you had fun.....weddings are soooo exciting!

I must admit, I have had completely the opposite kind of week, and been incredibly lazy. Have done nothing except troll through loads of web site looking for a pair of shoes. No change there - I spend most of my time on the look out for shoes anyway!!

I have promised my h2b I will do more next week!

Oh my...me & you both Lynne! And I spend most of my time complaining how far away the 9th September is....aaaggggghhhhh........probably because I won't see David in the flesh (so to speak) until 8th August........*sigh*

aww poor thing, Daniel was away for a couple of months after we got engaged and i thought that was hard enough
