Default Got my bridesmaids dresses!!!

Hello everyone,
I went to a Berkertex warehouse sale yesterday and got my two bridesmaid's dresses for £65 each! I've been trying to find a picture to post but can't.

They are in a hot pink colour (wanted something a bit paler, but these looked lovely on and will look even better with a tan), have a satin straight skirt part and a halter neck top which is covered completely in sequins and pearls. I think they are by Emily Fox (can't check as they've both taken them home).

I'm really pleased I've got them sorted, although I couldn't find a dress for myself. I'm having real problems finding one I love within budget. I keep falling in love with the ones that are three times what I can afford!
Anyway, I'm off work for two weeks now so I'm going to go to lots of local bridal shops and hopefully find a dress I love. Have already got lots of appointments.

We are trying to organise our honeymoon too.

Sorry this is long and bit waffly. I can't seem to shut up nonce I get started.
Rachel

That's fantastic news - I'm glad it wasn't a wasted trip! the dresses sound lovely. I hope you get your own one sorted over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks. If it wasn't for you, I'd never have heard about the sale. It was really good. They had tiaras, veils, shoes, underwear, the lot! If I'd managed to find a dress for me, I probably would have got a veil too.
Thanks again.

Ahh the dresses do sound wonderful. I am glad you've found something you are really pleased with.

Enjoy your fortnight off work, I do hope you manage to find your dream dress at a price within your budget.

Good luck! x

Sorry, I've not got a digital camera, only my mobile phone and the dresses are with both bridesmaids.

I've searched for piccies on the internet too through Berkertex and Emily Fox the designer.

They're probably not what I would've gone straight for, but they looked great on and I'm amazed they both liked and felt comfortable in them as one is 41 and the other 12. I was expecting to get two different dresses in the same/similar colour if poss so it worked out well after all.

I got the twelve year old's shoes and earrings yesterday. Her shoes are flat with a single band of coloured sequins across and open toed. Tried to find a piccie but they're not on the shop's website. She really is more excited than me. She is sooo looking forward to the wedding, she's counting the months/weeks/days!

Thank you for your kind comments
