Default bare hands?

I was just wondering whether on the day does the bride wear her engagement ring or does she go bare-handed till the wedding ring goes on?

I would have worn mine on my right hand, but the ring doesnt fit on that finger - so I'll get my mam to keep it until after the ceremony.

I have read somewhere (cant remember where now though) that you dont wear it at all or put it on the right hand like others have done then swap it over

Yeah thats right, as you're not allowed to wear anything on your wedding finger until after the ceremony when you have exchanged rings... or something like that...

I do wish my ring fit my right hand

I'm going to put it on my rig ht hand, then swop over before pics. My wedding band is going to be very plain, so I need my E Ring for a bit of sparkle in the pics

My CBM wore mine until after the ceremony, and when I was CBM for another friend, I wore hers until after the ceremony too. You are't supposed to wear anything on your wedding finger as that is where the wedding ring goes!
