Default Not much left to do now

I guess I havent really posted about my wedding planning for a little while. Really though, I dont have an awful lot left to sort out. Things that needed to be done, have been done really.

I'm going to try my wedding dress on again on Tuesday. Hasnt been touched since September! Lets up we can get the zip up. Lets say theres no fear that the dress will be too big for me now.

Also having another hair trial on Tuesday, and also getting a make up trial too. I want the natural look, but because I typically wear alot of make-up, I dont want to feel bare.

Got to sort out my seating plan, buy a white handbag for moi to use in the evening, and also looking for a rose for my BM (SIL) to wear in her hair.. so if anyone has any ideas?

Last few weeks now will really be paying people, confirming things with suppliers and checking that everyone knows what they are doing on the day.

So excited now, still very calm though. Most importantly just on cloud nine that this time in 4 weeks I'll be Jonathans wife.

How are the rest of you brides-to-be coming on with your planning?

Can't believe it's come round Karen. The next 4 weeks will seem to drag but at the same time fly by if you know what I mean. you're getting married!!

OMG the time will just fly by now, how long before your hen night?.
For the rose you could always try Claire's accessories, or Monsoon they both ussually have a good selection and always worth a look.

4 weeks for me too, we're getting married on the 23rd as well!
As you say, its just paying people and making lists. I have 2 major worries, one being that my dress hasnt arrived yet but Ive been assured it will be here in time. The other one is our Best Man who has become very reclusive as his girlfriend has depression and he doesnt like to leave her much. I could turn this into a woeful whinge but its not my thread.
Seating plan to sort out and table plan to make, favours to make up, hair and makeup tryouts and I guess thats it!

I cant arrange a hen night until I'm told my shifts for the forthcoming weeks. My friends are wanting a full boozy night out for me dressed from head to toe in condoms and the likes

We'll see what happens, but either way I am okay not having one. I am a humbug!

I'll definitely check out Claires and Monsoon. Thanks for the recommendations!

You sound very organised and so so calm. I'm so excited for you as well, those four weeks will just fly by.

Its amazing how quickly it does all come around.

I'm not too bothered about having a hen night either, but I'm sure I will probably have one. Have fun whatever you decide to do. x x
