Default Favours and table centre pieces

Thanks to some good advice from you groovers, I went to Ikea and bought the glass bowls for £3 each to float the gerberas in for the centre pieces.

I also had 4 kilos of chocolate hearts delivered to my door yesterday and just the sight of them is making me severely regret eating all those easter eggs!

But then you have to check that they taste OK and I did order a few extra for wastage...

Anyway, if you need any chocolate hearts I recommend that you order them from: www.swiftbox.co.uk

They are on special offer for £14 a kilo at the moment. The delivery is a bit pricey but it still worked out cheaper than anywhere else I found and I was impressed with the quick delivery time. They are also in date for another year! They also have favour boxes on offer, although I didn't order any as I already had mine.

Hope this is useful to someone

They quote about 164 per kilo but I got about about 150 per kilo but I weighed them and they had sent me the right amount. I think that they are slightly bigger than some foil hearts, by about a gram possibly... But I am very pleased with them. I think that today is the last day of the promotion so you need to work quickly if you want them at that price.

Those hearts sounds really nice. I am going to use that idea. I'm going to look for hearts wrapped in foil that matches my flowers and scatter them all over the tables.

I think I'll definately wait until the last minute to buy them though. I wouldn't want to eat some myself and have bad skin and a dress that is popping at the seems.

I am going to have enormous flower displays in big vases on each of my round tables. I am getting my vases from Pier 1 Imports, so they are going to be nice vases and what I am going to do is have a lucky chair or something and the winner at each table gets to keep the center piece. My cousin did that at her wedding and it was fun. I am copying my center piece from a wedding photography book. You can really do a lot with your center piece.

Sounds wonderful and will look beautiful. Weeeeell, you do have to taste a few - hardly going to damage the waistline!

Sounds great. I had chocolate hearts as part of my favours and everyone said they were lovely.
