After speaking to the venue, I've discovered they don't have their own cake stand but they recommend a place to get your cake from and you can then hire a stand.
Well, having decided to have M&S cakes (3 tiers of madeira sponge and choc sponge) that solution didn't work for us.
Try to visualise a sparkly red (edible glitter stuff) 3-tier cake with a silver cake band/ribbon on each layer and some kind of topper or silk flower arrangement.
I've been surfing looking at the usual silver/stainless steel numbers and then came across this... at just £35 so that's now on my shopping list.
