Talking Found a cake stand I love

After speaking to the venue, I've discovered they don't have their own cake stand but they recommend a place to get your cake from and you can then hire a stand.

Well, having decided to have M&S cakes (3 tiers of madeira sponge and choc sponge) that solution didn't work for us.

Try to visualise a sparkly red (edible glitter stuff) 3-tier cake with a silver cake band/ribbon on each layer and some kind of topper or silk flower arrangement.

I've been surfing looking at the usual silver/stainless steel numbers and then came across this... at just £35 so that's now on my shopping list.

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

There was one on ebay a couple of weeks ago (which is where I got the pic) and then found a site that sells something very similar... http://www.sugarshack.co.uk/products...ubname=Unusual
