Question Headpiece - what to wear?

I've now given up on the idea of a hat as it will no longer go with the full outfit I'd like, which includes a hooded cape.

I'm in a bit of a quandry as to how to wear my hair, and the current winner is to leave it down. I tried the half updo at home the other day and asked Al what he thought and he said it was too girly and didn't rate it very much.

So, what to have in my hair...

I like the shape of this, but not the design unfortunately as that would be too easy, and think it could look nice just sat on top of my hair. Or is it too much and would make me look like a prat??

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

PS. It's only 1 inch tall at the front so it's not massive and is 5.5 inches in diameter.

I actually really like these crowns Laurie.

They are very nice and I am sure you could find something similar but in a different pattern.

Have you tried www.blossom.co.uk as they do some wonderful head peices (Its wear I bought my own tiara)

I like that Lauz and think that style of thing would look perfect with a hooded cape.
