Table decoration/Rose petals
Hi,
Ive decided to have table scatter (probably petals) on our reception tables but Im a bit stuck as to what quantity I'll need. There are 8 round tables each seating 8 people. I dont want it thickly covered but I dont want it to look sparse. Any ideas?

if i were you i would ask the place where you are buying from i know that c onfetti do tubs - and in them id say there are enough petals EASILY for 2/3 tables - i reckon it looks really good to just have them around the centre of the table - are you having much else on the tables?

well i think that in that case a few petals round the centerpiece would be good? You dont want to detract from the handbags - i have never heard of that idea before -where on earth do you get silver mesh handbags?!

I went to a wedding fair and the lady who is doing my flowers had them on her stand in gold or silver. Theyre gorgeous! She also had mesh fairy wands in gold or silver so Im having them for my smallest bridesmaids with roses and ivy put on them. I dont know what the firm is called that she gets the stuff from but they do feather surrounds for bouquets, sisal cones, silver and beaded twisty things.... I guess most florists could get them though. Im a handbag fanatic so we thought it would raise a smile!

I though 'evil favours' were ones from A. Summers!!

Hey Flumpty! You are getting married on the same day as me!!!
AND we are having mini welsh love spoons as favours too!
Weird huh!
You can get those pots of fake rose petals in lots of shops and websites and i also think 1 box per 2/3 tables would be about right.

I LOVE the welsh lovespoons, we are having the keyrings. Light wood for the women, dark wood for the men.
Thanks for the rose petal advice. Are you nervous or ok?

I cant set up the tables myself as the wedding room is also the reception room. So my sister will do it while we're out having some pics done and our gun salute. I trust her, shes a designer! But I'll still leave her detailed instructions!!
