Question Personalised Napkins

Hi everybody,
We were looking at these in a catalogue last night and my mum's partner has offered to buy them for our wedding (you know the sort, with your names on and the date of the wedding).
It's a lovely gesture but I'm not sure whether they're actually worth the money.
What do you think?
Has anyone already had them and do you think they're worth getting?
Thanks.
x

My H2b liked the idea of them and so did i but after thinking about them i felt that most people wouldn't notice adn its was a bit costly to have guest's just used them to wipe their hands/mouth etc, for us the money was better used on other things. Great idea but not cost effective for me!

I'd like to get them, but I haven't looked into cost. I know we will need to get lilac ones anyway to match our colour scheme.

Are they really expensive?

The ones we were looking at were 100 for £20 ish.
I tend to agree with Manic Jo though - the thought of seeing people wipe their mouths/noses/whatever with them!!!
I kind of feel like it would be rude to turn down the offer as he obviously feels that he'd like to contribute in some way.
Perhaps I could think of something else that's just as personal and of a similar price?

How much are personalised match books? Or what about using the napkins to wrap cake in?

I'm not sure about the match books Ang, but I quite like the idea of using the napkins for cake.
Thanks.

Hiya - think I will go for them to wrap cake in as Ang has suggested here......but agree that seeing people blow their noses on them during dinner would kinda make me a tad peeved.
