Hi guys

well i think that my calmness has been replaced ........... by blind panic!!

Nah only joking but things have started to heat up over the last couple of days - it really is the nitty gritty things now!!

Also, people have started cancelling?! ARGH!!!

How is everyone else getting on / how did you all get on when you were at this stage?

Would appreciate any replies cos have tried not to go on about it to other people (but you guys are not safe from my ramblings - sorrrry!)

thanks rachael - im not panicky so much as Peeved off!!! (is it just me or do emotions get heightened when planning a wedding!)

Also, what the hell is up with the rain!? Does everyone have it or just me? (like in cartoons - with a big black cloud over my head?!)

It's normal to be a bit highly strung the last couple of weeks. I think every wedding has a stage so close when things suddenly all seem to be going wrong and the slightest little thing gets to you. And then on the day everything's just perfect and all the stresses really don't matter a bit.

Hey hun..remember to breathe! Will these people who've cancelled stop you marrying your sexy man? and stop you from having a fabulous day? I doubt it. Everyone who wants to be there will be there...and you WILL have a wonderful day.

I know exactly how you feel, 2 weeks before I was so excited and happy, the week before I felt almost depressed!! Almost thinking I can't be bothered with this, I had guests cancelling too at the last minute due to various things and it does stress you out redoing tables etc.

2 days before the wedding I couldn't eat and was bursting in to tears at nothing. Day before I was great and on the day all calm and happy - you'll be fine trust me!

I was exactly the same. I was going from one extreme to the other. One minute I was all excited I was getting married and then the next I was all stressed and pissed off about something. We had a couple of last minute cancellations too which really annoyed me.

I think it is normal. Take care and you'll be fine.

But do feel a little bit annoyed with a few people !!!

I know that all that matters is that we get married though so really to heck with them!!

Im just one of those stupid people who spend all their time making sure everyone else is okay and then think hang on what about me?!

Have made a decision that im going to wake up on the morning of the wedding (well fingers crosssed I will or jeez Id have wasted a lot of money!!!

) and then Im going to jsut enjoy enjoy enjoy! And not worry about everyone else and not pander to everyone elses needs and feelings !! Im not going to be nasty (incapable unfortunately!) but I am going to put me and my bloke first!!

I am incredibly highly strung at the moment over the wedding, want to hide and not talk about it at all, yet there is so much to do. I am wondering why I even decided to have a massive wedding and not me and him somewhere exotic argh!

I think I may pass out with panic when I have one week three days left to go. I understand how you feel xx

[font=Arial]thats the spirit me luvva!!! you go girlie!. when my sis in law to be got wed a couple of weeks ago, she was stressing etc.. and on the day of the wedding she couldnt stop grinning, didnt notice that a few poeple hadnt turned up, had about 4 drinks in her hand all the time and had a wicked time.xxx
