A lovely member on ere adviced me to open a thread of what i have done so far and what i am having and where to one share with everone and two to make me feel better about things to look back on and see how much i have really done, i htought it would be a great idea so if you want to read here it is;
i am having a full white wedding in a chruch in burton on trent its a lovely big church where certain family memebers of ours go on a sunday it is my h2b parish not mine bt perfect.
we are having our own choice of music by pachelbe canon (think thats the right wording there) for the wedding amrch and it is being played over the pa system there as i didnt want the usual march (personal choice) we are having flowers in the church of the darkest red roses and cream roses and their putting them on every pew to instead of bows.
we are having the bells chime after the service too.
with the organ for the hymnes, the hymes i have choosen are o perfect love
and make me a channel of your peace the last one being my fav.
we have one bride maid my sister and a matron of hounor my best friend a flower girl my eight year old niece and a ring bearer our son.
We have three ushers, best man is my h2b dad, my step dad is giving me away as much as i would love my dad to he passed away 15 years ago bt my step dad is the greatest.
We have picked two witnesses who are ver close friends bt not part of the wedding party so ithought it would be nice to include them this way rather than use some one who is aready part of it.
I have two cars for me and my b/maids the b/maids are having a silver merc and i am having a beaufort its like a chitty citty bang bang car.
my b/maids are in burgundy and i in ivory/white.
I am having my hair half up half down a bit of a spanish style type hair style.
I am haiving deep red roses and white calla lillies hand tyed and the brides maids are having cream rose hand tyed. the flower girl is having one red rose in a wand.
the guys are having cream roses bt my h2b is having a white calla lillie.
our venue is at a hotel which is beautiful and iwere so pleased with the place, we are having 45 guests to the day time and 145 to the night.
We are having a dj and our first dance is to be from this moment by shani atwain and brian adams did i spell her name right

we are having ivory and burgundy balloons which i have brought two on each guest table with double heart shaped silver balloon weights.
We have burgundy top hat favors for the guys and ivory hand bags for the girls which i have had to build up and put the sweets inside i didnt like the traditional sweets they use so i decided to use five colours in each of jelly beans as the five colours are meant to be good luck.
i have also brought some little tiny favor scrolls with a little poem on them to say thankyou for coming and sharing our day and our names and date of wedding on them i have had to roll them all and tie them with a little ivory bow.
i have aslo made my order of service sheets and printed out my hymnes for everyone.
we have had wedding cameras for each table silver coned party poppers and church shaped bubbles. lots of balloons for the room and wedding bells in burgundy.
we have also got a white wedding wishing well which is beautiful it stands up in the room for anyone to post their cards in.
I am even having a red carpet for the entrance of the hotel which they supplie for you, thought that will be the first and last time i walk on one of those so why not

I havent got my cake table decor yet although my florist is doing up the top table with flowers and swags i am having long thing varses on each table and top table with coloured stones in the bottom which colours the water burgundy and in their we are having a large calla lillie with a rose and forlidge( not sure how you say or spell that word)

We are aslo having a balloon net and balloons for the dance floor at night with burgundy and ivory balloons in, infact i have brought enough balloons to start my own shop

We are staying in the hotel that night and so are a few of our guests so that will be nice.
we have picked a lovely menu and drink packagefor day and night and we have tasted it and it was lovely infact i nearly married the chief instaed ha ha .
my cake is a three tier cake in ivory icing/ fruit cake traditional ,although i dont like cake anyway

my florsit is going to dress the cake with roses and ivory around the two bottom tiers and we have a bride and groom ivory porcelin cake topper where the groom is picking up the bride in his arms as if to go over the threash hold type hold. we are having the whole day and night videod and pictures taken, so i hope the weather stays bright.
i have brought some lovely gifts for the b/maids and the men have all had shirt cuffs and tankers with what they are to be on the day written on it.
i have some nice gifts for the mums and flowers too.
i have a spaech to mke myself on the day in rembarence of my dad and little brother who cant be there.
which i am sure i want to do bt not sure if i can actually do it.
you know how it is.
so now i have wrote all this i am hopeing i have not bored you all too much but actually to calm you are right i feel better i have actually achieved alot.
