Default Decided on our venue finally

Finally we are back from our 5 days away in Scotland took 4 hours getting there on Monday but today took almost 6 and I feel really guilty that I still cant help share the driving yet poor Andy bless him never moans about it though.
Well although is was a break away our main reason for going was so we could go and look at Comlongon Castle and so far we both have nothing but praise about it all i can say is it totally exceeded our expectations the wedding organiser and just all the staff we met where really laid back very polite and pleasent really really helpful and not pushy at all we didnt feel as if we had to make a decision there and then.
Although I loved the booklet they sent us and all the photos I have seen on there website the pictures just dont do it justice Andy had always said he wasnt to keen on the drawing room or the bar area saying the bar area looked like a social club lol but when we saw them in the flesh they look a lot nicer and the whole castle just has a really warm comfortable feeling and the bedrooms are just to die for they are so oppulent massive thick carved four poster beds in the suite rooms that also have a double jacuzzi bath and you get champagne and chocolates in the room and breakfast served in your room too on a table set out infront of the window overlooking the fantastic grounds.
As soon as we got back to our campsite we started ringing our relations we have decided on June 2006 the wedding organiser has given us 4 dates and now we are home we can check school hols ect against the dates so we will be all booked up in the next 2 weeks yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Hi! Congratulations, i've been there and it is absolutely lovely place, the castle itself, and the garden and I really liked that long road to the castle with beautiful old trees on both sides. You will have a lovely day there!
