Default Rooley and Rach

Hey girlies

Can you believe we've got less than ten weeks to go -

Just wondered how you are both getting on with your planning and if you still have loads left to do.

We've had a relaxing couple of weeks, but are now planning to have meetings with all the suppliers, videographer, photographer, toastmaster, hotel etc which will take up a fair bit off time.

My dress is still to come in - looking forward to going back and trying it on. We're still waiting on a few RSVP's which have proved a bit of a task to get back. Still having to chase up a few people, but we're getting there.

How are you both feeling?

Hi Sara,
This is quite sad, but I got all excited when I saw this thread!
Anyway, I know it's now less than 10 weeks. I can't believe it, it's going so fast. All day on Saturday I kept saying things like "Well, I wonder what we'll be doing this time in 10 weeks" or "This time 10 weeks from now we'll be married."
You sound very organised and the meetings with various people will be exciting. They'll make it seem real IYKWIM.
Like you my dress hasn't come yet. I'm expecting it in the next 2-3 weeks, so while I'm off work this week I'm hoping to get my underwear bought ready for the fitting.
I'm also going to have to chase up RSVP's. Can you believe I've only had 8 back so far?!
We are a little bit behind in some areas. For eg. flowers. I've not decided exactly what to have yet. Lee's auntie is a florist, but she says we need to decide soon. We also need to get the men's outfits sorted. Lee is so laid back about the organisation and I don't like to nag too much!!
Oh, and we need to get to John Lewis to zap the items we want on our wedding list as that goes 'live' on 25th June.
My CBM is coming over later so I'm looking forward to an afternoon of planning.
Let us know how you get on with all your meetings and the rest of your planning.
Take care.
Love Rachel
x

Sounds like you are very much on top of things Rach.

I am hoping to get my veil tomorrow. Its the last thing I need to complete my outfit. Then we have a meeting with the hotel next Saturday to talk about menus and stuff. I'm not sure if they will want exact numbers as well. Still waiting for a few RSVP's but they are now coming in.

Its all coming together but feels like theres still loads left to do. Need to get the favours as well. I'm still not sure what we are having. x x

We are organsing tons of stuff at the moment. Most big things are sorted, we still have tons of RSVPs to get, I am amazed that people haven't replied and have been a bit upset as I guess I want people to be really excited like we are.

I got a bit fucked off with the whole wedding at the beginning of this week, and couldn't sleep as was miserable as sin and didn't want to have a 'big stupid wedding costing all this money'..but I am over that now think I got overwhelmed.

I still have to have hair and make up trial
Sort table centres and favours
orders of service
see organist again
confirm everything with all the suppliers
make sure my dress is all sorted and fits
buy undies

I have a list a mile long anyway

The RSVP thing amazed me as well Rools. It makes you feel like shite when you have to keep asking for them. You just feel like why cant they be excited about our wedding like we are.

Sounds like the three of us have everything under control though even if there is still loads to do. x x
