Default First fitting hee hee

Yay - had first dress fitting on saturday and as noone was available to come along as everyone and his wife are on hols...I took my future MIL.

She liked the dress (Or at least I hope she did) but it does need taking in somewhat so I am hoping it will be fine when I go again in August.
Also having hoop - anyone else having a hoop?

I was also booked in to pick some shoes and had saved up hard to get a pair I had set my sights on and then they produced these others......a fraction of the price but just as nice and are really comfy - well chuffed !!!!

I tried my accessories too and got really excited in the shop

They want me to go back in August and pick the dress up there and then and I'm thinking....where the blinkin 'ell do I store this dress?????? I don't want it to get creased or moths on it..... any bright ideas?
Getting it home will be interesting!

Thanks for the tips and kind reassurance girls.
I was so excited about the dress that I forgot to tell you all that I also managed to visit our venue again - on Sunday and it was an absolutely glorious day. I arrived there expecting to see a lovely wedding happening and to my surprise there wasn't one..........I was slightly upset as I had initially asked for that day and they were booked up.......so must have cancelled.
Moral of the story is, if you don't get the day you set your heart on, keep on contacting them to see if there's been a cancellation or ask them to pencil in your name next to that date in case anyone drops out.

Girls....it was gloriously sunny, not a cloud in the sky and the place was empty - a real shame!
Still, at least it's given me a few extra months to save up I supppose!!!
