We had Ronan Keating "The Way You Make Me Feel". We chose it because when we both listened to the words separately we both thought it perfectly described how we felt about each other. We didn't really have a "special" song as we're both into different types of music, but we still listen to it every now and again and have a wee smooch in our living room I made up a CD of all the songs I liked and Billy listened to it and that's how we came up with our first dance. Our last dance was Dido "Thank You" - our guests surrounded us on the dancefloor and threw heart shaped pieces of paper (can't write it on here as it's banned!), it summed up our day perfectly.

From This Moment is a beautiful song - let us know what you decide!

We are having a song by Alisha Keyes. Thinks it's called NOTHING but if anyone knows the correct title I would love to know. Then we are having Heaven by DJ Sammy. Very SMMMOOOCCCHHHYYY. Was thinking whether to have had some sort of dance lessons so we could fling each other around the dance floor, but still haven't got round to it.

We're using a U2 song that we listened to a lot when we were first dating called "All I want is You". I like it because it's different a love song by a rock band and it has background music from a orchestra so you feel like it's live almost as good as live tasteful music. I also "thought" of dance lessons but never got around to it!

Lovely song choices

We had 2 first dances, Come What May by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman followed by To Be Loved By You by Westlife.

Smile "Happy" by The Boss!

I haven't posted a message here in quite a long time...but I'm back in the swing of things and have less than 200 days to go!

Music is our number one priority (aside from saying "I do") for our big night. Our first dance is to a song called "Happy" by Bruce Springsteen. We have never heard of anyone else dancing to this as a first dance and we don't want to dance to a song that we know hundreds of others have danced to...it makes it more your own I think. He's also our favorite musician and we couldn't think of anyone we'd rather share that moment with. Actually, we've invited he and his wife Patti to the wedding. We sent them a Save the Date card and received an autographed picture of him in return. (sorry...a shameless bit of gloating there huh?)

Good luck!

We had Zero 7 - Destiny. Have a listen to it if you can as the words are awesome.

We had "Just like Fred Astaire" by James, and "Broken Road" by Melodie Crittenden. I had wanted the original Marcus Hummon version of the latter, but decided to have a female version of it instead, for some reason.
