Just wondering...

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;

There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

I danced with my dad to the 'wedding song' that the band played. It wasn't a formal thing though, just us dancing. and I think J got one with my mum too. x

If you want to do it you should go for it love xx

We're now thinking of combining the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance so we now need to think of a song that it suitable for both.

Any ideas peeps??

The last few weddings I've gone to, have done father daughter dance at least. We plan on having both at our reception, but we haven't even thought about songs yet.

I went for the lot, father/daughter, mother/son, father in law/mother in law, bridesmaid/groom, bride/bestman.

I wasn't leaving any traditions out on my big day.........actually thats a lie hubby got nowhere near my garter with his teeth. Thats soooo tacky!
