Default Attendants' gifts

Who do you have to buy gifts for?

Was thinking of making up some hampers for the attendants with varied items in them depending on their sex and age...

Also, any suggestions for relatively cheap mens' gifts (other than booze which I plan to get from France) would be greatly appreciated!

we brought for our mums best man which was his dad, my step dad who gave me away, the b/ms flower girl ring bearer who was our son the three ushers each other.
for the b/m i brought some lovely books off ebay from a lady in canada they were somehting the americans do and i loved the idea and they were so menain ful and nice they were all addressed on the front of the part the person played in the wedding and insdie each page had a heading which you as the bride filled in in your own words for them to read back on, like .... why you are my b/m, when we first met, my first memories of you, how special you are to me, etc etc through life then how you have helped me, blar blar blar, i did this for b/m and the mums i also brouht them a chian and earings to match and the mums a bouquet of flowers each. for the flower girl and ring bearer a book again with the part they played and their names on them but this one was for them to do soemthing and fill out after the wedidng of their memories and places for photos. i really loved the books i even brought one for our records as they do all books for all occassions and its very emotioanl when you wirte them out at the end of each book there is a place for the grooms words to the person in question, my hubby had to fill his mums in and i had a place to write my words at the end there so nicely presented too.
we brought cuffs for the guys saying what they were on the day best man father of bride usher etc in lovely presention boxes and we aso brought some silver parker pens in presentation boxes and i got them all engraved saying what part they played on the day and lissa and andys wedding june 4th 05, they looked lovely.
My hubby brought me some diamond earings and presented them to me at the table in front of all and embarassed me as they were to mark being together for four years and i forgot about it with all the wedding preperations and he didnt oops wont forget that one again we met on the 2nd june and our wedding was on the 4th june so thats why i forgot this time
