Default For those of you with white wedding jewellery...

Just to let you know I had my e-ring re-rhodium plated this week and it looks as good as new, if not better! I was a bit concerned at how good it would be, but honestly it is fantastic. It's even covered up some of the little surface scratches and it just looks so good now. So if anyone is worrying about having this done, please don't it won't ruin the ring at all.

The only bummer is that I can't wear it until the wedding now, as I want to keep it looking this way!

Good point. The Jeweller I got K's ring from (Ernest Jones) does replating for the life of the ring and it does look as good as new. They'll do it at the same time as getting the wedding ring too so they match.

Alas, we had to (and will have to ) pay for ours to be done, but I've been told it's about £10. Well, I mean you pay that to have it cleaned, so to me it's not that much of an issue really. And we may one day consider having the setting made in platinum. However even that has to go off to the shop to be polished every year or two so you can't win really.

Hi Bev,

Thanks for letting me know. I need to get mine done and was a bit worried about it, but it sounds like a good plan now
