Is any one else doing this? I wasnt going to bother, but h2b was sooooo sweet and suggested I wore a ring that belonged to his late mother (he wears it on a chain round his neck at all times) as my something old and something borrowed. I have my dress for my something new, and also have a lovely blue Topaz pendant h2b bought me for my birthday the first year we were together. If it looks ok with my dress i will wear that and if not will maybe paint my toe nails pale blue or something, not quite decided on that one yet.
Well like everyone I have loads of something new's! I have blue crytsals on my dress, but for the rest I'm equally stumped. 'll see what mum can suggest when I get home, but I can't think of anything.
I hadn't really thought about it that much but, Something Blue & New is the bodice of my dress, Something old is my horn of life chain which I'm wearing on the day (Gran bought me it when I was v.young) Don't have a scooby what for the borrowed bit yet
Will have to see if anyone has something that I could use.

I heard the idea was to borrow stuff from those who have had happy marriages, so the luck transferred to you.
Here's my ideas so far:
Old......my grandmother's antique lace handkerchief
New....dress
Borrowed.......silver purse from my mother, maybe also veil from a friend.
Blue - underwear and garter ribbon.
I haven't really thought much about this as I've still got 5 months to go but.....
Something Old = ?????
Something New = Dress, Underwear etc
Something Borrowed = ???????
Something Blue = ??????
I will be wearing a bracelet that my mother wore at her wedding, just not sure what to wear it as, the old or the blue!?! It's a bracelet that's got several pictures on it, the majority of the colour being blue!! It will probably end up being my "Something Old" and I'll find something blue to wear concealed! Probably on a garter! LoL

After lots of help our little born on 28th Jan 2008
when I kiss you goodnight I will
hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank
God for you, and ask him for nothing,
I have my old:gold bracelet of my late aunties, she would have loved to see me married (uncle always used to ask "are you courting yet?" Very embarassing when youre 10!) so will be a nice reminder of her.
new:everything
borrowed:I have no idea atall.... maybe a necklace from my mum...
blueressmaker is putting a small blue bow on the inside of my dress
Something old: I was thinking of a necklace my H2B bought me but its not that old - how old is old anyway? Its not new..
Something new: Most things!
Something borrowed: Not sure yet??
Something blue: Garter
Something Old and borrowed: Pearl drop earing that my mum wore on her wedding day.
Something new: dress, shoes, veil etc
Something blue: Blue bow made from a remnant of material from my mums bridemaids dresses! (she has only kept it 32 years!) and also the blue bow from her garter.
I am trying to get hold of a silver sixpence, does anyone know where I can get one from?
