Question how do you co-ordinate getting bms dresses ???

hi, getting rather stressed about how on earth you are supposed to co- ordinate getting the bms dresses! mine all live 300 miles away from each other and went into debenhams yeterday, thinking you ca just go an dbuy them off the peg - oh no , that would be way too easy - they all need to be ordered at the same time so the dye is the same and then alterations may be needed- the woman thought I would need 4 months to co-ordinate this- "2 weeks to go and I am at that point- anyone know of any shops that do , do off the peg dresses that don't need ordering and faffing about with . can't get up to see the bridesmaids until at least june
cheers

2 of my bridesmaids are in the channel islands, so i had to get "off the peg" dresses. I went to debenhams and got them in their Debut range, I then had to post them down to Jersey to make sure they fitted, not the easiest way to do it, but they wont be up here again till a week before the wedding so it was the best i could do. My sister lives here tho so at least i got to see them on

Hiya,

My bridemaid lives in australia and is only coming here ont he monday before the wedding. I ordered her dress for her but again it takes time.

Why don't you try places like Monsoon they do gorgeous dresses and ball sections in debenhams they are all just off the peg, designers at debenhams have some stunning off the peg bridemaid dresses.

I hope this helps

love

As some of you maybe know, this has been a big deal for me too! If it wasn't bad enough that H2B lives in Australia, only 1 BM lives in Northern Ireland. One lives in Gloucestershire, and the 3rd lives in....California!

I've bought 3 dresses from Monsoon - these were actually my favourites anyway. As the 3 girls are petite, I'm getting the shoes (thanks Argos Additions!) and posting 2 off the outfits to the US & England for them to get their own adjustments made.

Doesn't stop me worrying, but I can't afford to wait until the day before the wedding to get it sorted out, my nerves couldn't cope!!

BHS do off the peg I think, or you'll have to say you need them NOW and see what they can do for you.

I say your best bet would be BHS or Monsoon!

Good Luck!
