I got mine today also, unfortunately I did not try them on and just picked up my size... but they are slightly too large, so I'll have to go back ,lol to exchange them...oooops, lol.

I wasn't planning on getting shoes, I wanted white DM's but when I was trying on dresses they had these shoes to try on with the dress and I really liked them and they fit!
Good Job really cause I'm only a size 2 so it makes it hard to find nice shoes!!!

Has anyone received any useful advice about shoes from other brides? Things like - no mules, chunky heels etc?
I love shoes and I've spotted a beautiful pair which I think will match my dress. I'll try to attach a pic, if I can't you can seem them at www.alanpinkus.com.au - they are called Moira.
What do you think? Too high? (I'm very short) Heel too narrow? Not good to have open toes/heels?

Those shoes are gorgeous! That is the sort of thing I'm after, but not so high - I'm short, but never wear heels. The website has some gorgeous stuff - but again either too high or not the colour I want - light pink!
Hey do you know any good shoes websites - I'm in Sydney and found the season is against me - getting married in September. Is Melbourne better for shopping (not that I have the time/money to go there  )?

Hel, what sort of a shoe style are you looking for?
Nine West often have some good stuff, also Enzo Angiolini (in Nine West). Melbourne is a great place for shoes - lots of stuff on sale in Bridge Rd Richmond - big discounts on top shoes. I never pay full price! Nine West have several stores in NSW too if that helps. Alan Pinkus have a store in Sydney too - there is this one from their catalogue, and another one in pink too (use the colour selector to see if pink is available).

Ta for that! The shoes are gorgeous! I want something pink and strappy and not too high - very similiar to those in fact! I think I might need a little strap so I don't fall over !! :teehee:
I want a pair of shoes not too bridally so I can wear them again - don't care how much they cost!!

These are my shoes....I bough them from e-bay at £30 less than RRP! They ar soooooo comfy, I could stand in them for a week (well, not quite  )

Viv-Chick - Bev was muttering the other day about getting your dress stuck under your foot if you have open backed shoes!! Which would probably make me fall over! So I'm going to look for closed in shoes.
I think yours are dead sexy but far too high for me!! (Chris is only a couple of inches taller than me too so I don't want to go too high!
I did think I wanted closed toes, as that's all anyone will see anyway, but I'm having such troucble finding any that I think I might have to go for sandals of some sort just so my fat feet are accommodated!!
