Default Hunky H2B's Suit Dilemma

Hiya...hope someone can help!

MY H2B (lovely man that he is) didn't like any of the hire suits. So we've hit a problem. He said he'd buy one, but it sort of needs to be cheapish...around the £120, or AUS$250 mark.

Now, that would be ok, but he's looking for chocolate brown. Has anyone any idea where we could get a nice one, either in the UK or in Australia? I've reached a complete dead end. Oh, and while I'm on the subject, we need a deep pink shirt....trust me on this one, ok! I know it possibly sounds a bit mad! LOL

All help appreciated, before my head starts spinning round & my heart burst out of my chest and my brains come down my nose!!

I'm calm....honestly......

Thanks Sarah,

However, I have the misfortune of living in Northern Ireland, which most companies seem to forget actually is in the UK....so places like Suits You can't help! VERY annoying...

Difficult one...

Would having it done, be around your prices?
I have no idea, but when you want something more you in these times you'd better having made...

Otherwise...on the shops front, mmmmh do you have any... Debenhams? Allders? Wall mart?

I wish you Good Luck,

and let us know when you find the suit,

X

Debenhams was the first place I tried - same old story - any colour as long as it's black, charcoal, grey or navy.

We don't have Allders or Wallmart, or Fenwicks (pity!), House of Fraser or ANYONE in NI....I can't even satisfy my craving for Waitrose carrot cake.... Not even an IKEA!!

I've looked into getting one made, and we haven't a hope with our limited budget...I wish we could though....back to the drawing board I guess.....

I can't speak for NSW, but in Melbourne you can really get some bargains in Bridge Rd, Richmond, including suits of all colours and styles. Even designer stuff is cheap there, I love the place. A lot of stores have clearance outlets in Bridge Rd but some of the smaller places could be cheaper. Country Road has a store there if that helps! There might even be a Bridge Rd traders website. Or, you could look in the yellow pages online (www.yellowpages.com.au) and search there for menswear on Bridge Rd Richmond. You could get your man to give them a call.......

Good luck searching!

Thanks Fiona! I'll tell him about that - I checked out the yellow pages, and you're right - there are LOADS of shops! Hopefully he'll have time to get out & have a look.

And Sarahb? No, we don't have a Moss Bros here either!
