For my reception party gown (we're being greedy and having a small wedding AND a big party). my wedding shoes and my wedding underwear and managed to buy absolutely NOTHING! They didn't have the shoes or the underwear in my size and every dress I tried on wasn't "right"! This always happens when I go shopping intending to buy something!

I hate weekends like that!
You go shopping for something and just can't find it, or they don't have your size.... etc etc etc

Hope you manage to find everything you want though... I bet you'll find them when you're least expecting to!

I am sure I will find everything eventually, just sooo frustrating when you know exactly what you want but can't get it. However, there are a couple more shopping trips planned over the next 2 weekends so perhaps.....

I totally know what you mean. I did the opposite today. I went out, 3 days before pay day (so am skint) fully intending to just have a wander around, and came home kitted out with my wedding jewellry

Things like that always work best if you are not looking for it. Go into town with no cash, and no time, and you will be surprised how much stuff you can find that is perfect!

Seriously though, I hope you find everything you need soon.

Hi Rachael.

Have you tried looking in Rue Lafayette in the St Enochs Centre??
We went in when we were looking for B/M dress and they had some absolutely Gorgeous Ball gowns. They even had some weddingy type dresses. HTH

Hi,

Yeah I did pop my head in the door but the place was full of brides and mothers looking for bridesmaids dresses and I just couldn't get near the dresses!!

I'll go back another time though, hopefully it will be quieter.
