Well, so far I have ordered my dress (Maggie Sottero - Tori Organza), booked the venue (Kilhey Court, Standish, Wigan) and a photographer and bought some bridesmaid dresses for the little ones that I am having. (Got two little fairy outfits from Adams - Dead cute! :saint:)
Still got to order bridesmaid dresses for my two adult bridesmaids (Have picked the style but not sure whether to have pale green or pale blue.), sort my flowers, invitations and cake.
Probably loads of other bits that I\'ve got to do but those are the main ones. All I can think about is wedding at the moment. (Luckily I have an understanding boss :) Good job really cos I haven\'t done any work all week ;))
What are the fairy outfits like? I\'m trying to find something for a 2 year old - but in white... its quite hard to find anything nice, but not expensive for that age-group.
How long have you been engaged? Which BM dresses are you going for?
Hope you like it here, we\'re a friendly bunch. I\'m another June bride, 28th to be exact. Don\'t panic too much, you have much more organised than I do. I\'m so slack it\'s unreal. Have a dress, Mark\'s suit is all sorted, I have a necklace (I\'m very pleased with that! hehehe), a venue, and erm . . . well I think thats it. :o Might have a photographer within the next week, and maybe even a cake, but can\'t be certain about that. There is a florist, my mother tells me, but we haven\'t sorted what we want yet.
We\'re organising our wedding from Australia, getting married on the Isle of Wight, so we have to do everything via email. A little tricky, but do-able as long as your not too picky. ;)
Nice to see you here. I\'m afraid you\'ll have to get used to regular posts from a bloke  but I think the others have got used to me now :lol:
Well, I have no problems with getting used to posting from a bloke. In fact, I think it will be useful to get a blokes point of view.
I\'ve been engaged for two years now. Set a date this time last year. (You would think I\'d be all organised by now!)
My dress can be seen at www.maggiesotterobridal.com. (Would post the picture myself but I\'m rubbish at the technical stuff!) and is white. The little fairy outfits I got from Adams are also white and have an elasticated bodice with thin straps that tie at the top of the shoulder. The skirt is made from netting in petal shapes and has silver stars dotted all over it. (The best bit was they only cost £13 each! Bargain!) Also bought two fluffy wands so that I don\'t have to watch them destroy the flowers like they did at the last wedding they were bridesmaids at! Little angels!
The adult bridesmaid dresses are Watters and Watter (hopefully!) Not sure what the design name is but they have a strapless boned bodice and an A-line skirt. Plain but absolutely gorgeous!
