Hi All,

i dont know if i have actually introduced myself here or not, i signed up just before i fell ill.

My name is neil and im a wedding photographer from the uk, (edited)

Im actually here because as off a few weeks ago, im now preparing to get married myself on the 2nd september to tracie, we ordered a wedding dress from a chinese dress maker off ebay for 89 pounds and it arrived yesterday, i was worried it wouldnt, tracie says its nice thick satin and is lovely so ebay does work.

im here looking at advice for all things, and i am finding some good info on the threads, we are making our own stationary so its been good to read about that.

sorry if its seen as advertising, i dont mean it to be i just want to offer advice if you need it, or want to know what something is your photographer has given you.

i wish you'd posted this a week earlier. we've just sorted out our photographer and it cost us £550. we really cant afford it but it was the cheapest at the time. im so gutted we didn't find you earlier.

Hi Neil and welcome to you and Traci to Groovy and congratulations to on your future wedding.

I to brought my dress of Ebay from China and it is on it's way to me as we speak I have been tracking its progress via DHL. Like Traci I to had been fairly concerned but the company I have brought from have 100% feedback and previous customers have been very flattering about the dresses but as they say time will tell.

If Traci hasn't got her Tiara yet I can highly reccomend a Lady I brought mine from I originally brought a fairly plain one but then I changed my colour scheme so I emailed her and she redesigned a Tiara almost identical to what I had but with coloured bead in it too. the link to her ebay shop is

thanks for the tiara link, im banned from looking but il pass it on to her, the dress looks stunning so everyone tells me, i aint looked lol im banned there too

on the photography bit, who did you use, i bet you get stunning results, most pros are capable of it, :-) il post some pics tomorrow when i get back from a bridal shoot in london
