heres a challenge for you guys, im trying to think up a way to ask for cash gifts and vouchers for our favorite funiture store to put in our wedding invites, but its killing me thinking of how to word it!!! i feel like the worlds cheekiest sod!!!!! so, c,mon ideas please!!!!!!xxxxxx

I would just put something like...

'If you would like to purchase us a wedding gift, then vouchers for *** would be greately appreciated'

Many people would much rather know what you want, and it saves them time and effort in trying to find something you would both like.

Firstly, people want to know what to get you as a wedding gift, I know how you feel, I felt terrible sending out the little card things from our wedding list.

How about something like:

Your presence is the most important thing to us on the day, however, if you want to buy us a gift we would really appreciate some money towards carpets and furniture for our home. Thank you. Sarah and Brian x

Thats not cheeky, just saying what they want to know

You could do what the others have suggested and also add something like ' but please be assured your presence is more important than your presents!' just to make it more light hearted. My friend did that for her wedding and everyone thought it was a really good play on words.
