Hiya!!

My friend at work has just told me that she's tying the knot this September in Cyrpus - it was all decided last weekend. I'm so excited for her and her h2b but she has asked for my help but I know very little about getting married in Cyprus so I was hoping you guess wouldn't mind me asking for some help here on her behalf.

Has anyone here got married or is planning to get married in Cyprus? If so then are there any websites/companies/suppliers that you would recommend for her to look at? Any information that she must consider beforehand? Is it possible to organise a wedding in just 5 months?

Hiya Beeny

Im not getting married in Cyprus but am getting married abroad. First thing i suggest is finding a reputable company who specialises in weddings in Cyprus. Secondly, have a look at the Cyprus tourisim website as they will have all the information needed for getting married in the country.

i have to see some people talk about wedding aboard you try www.weddingpath.co.uk they tell you what to do... i think 2 or 3 wedding in cyprus this year and next year you ask them they will answer you conitune like this groovy answer! up to you okay tasha xxx

We got to Cyprus every year with our best friends who have a house there and they helped one of Cals friends daughters with some info about getting married there so Ill ask them what they know

I know someone who got married in Cyprus. There is some info on the Cyprus tourism site. They booked it all through a travel agent and it was done as a package type thing. I'll see if I can find out a bit more for you.

Just tell your friend to be cautious about handing all the arrangements over to an agency etc - I've heard a few tales of ppl turning up to foreign weddings to find that they have not got legal papers completed etc and cant get married!!

Hope it all works out for her - Cyprus looks lovely
