Hi,
I am a freelance journalist writing wedding features for glossy magazines and newspapers.
I am writing three wedding articles and are looking for brides and brides-to-be to take part. If any of these stories sound familiar get in touch.
1. Have you bought and worn a second hand wedding dress?
I am writing a feature for a glossy women’s magazine about brides who walked (or are still to walk) down the aisle in a ‘pre-worn’ wedding dress. Maybe your mum wore it first, or you bought from the internet.
You'll get a lovely all expenses-paid photo shoot and a chance to talk about your fabulous wedding.
We will also talk to the owner of the original dress, to get some background into it. So you will need to supply contact details for the original bride.
2. Did you throw together a fabulous last minute wedding?
Many brides spend months or even years planning their big day. But a national newspaper is looking for brides who organised a wedding at VERY short notice.
How did you do it? Did you enjoy it? What tips do you have for other last minute brides-to-be?
3. Did you have cosmetic surgery to be a beautiful bride?
A glossy women’s monthly magazine is looking for women who had a cosmetic operation in preparation for their big day.
Body or face – whatever the procedure we want to talk to you about it.
For all of these features you get a lovely all expenses-paid photo shoot and a chance to talk about your fabulous wedding.
I am also always looking for unusual or interesting wedding stories.
Please email
beinamagazine@yahoo.com with your story and contact details.
Good luck planning your wedding and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Kate Graham
