Just been for a long walk and cleared my head a wee bit dont know about the rest of you married girls but I feel on a total downer.
Where was I. We go to the hotel and all I can say is what a nightmare it is getting in and out of a car in your wedding dress if it was'nt for the help of my wonderful dad and fantastic photographer I think I would have fell over and made a fool of myself.
The minister came to greet me at the door and gave me a few words of encouragment and then the harpist started to play the theme from Romeo and Juliet and I began my walk down the aisle. Its funny because you think you will look at everyone but I just could'nt I jsut stayed focused on Christopher. Now when I saw him looking gorg and all grown up in his suit and very very nervous I just melted but totally calmed down. He was so nervous and quite emotional so I thought I have to get him through this so I stayed very focused giving him nods and winks of reassurance. It sounds sad but it was lovely at the time. ( the suits and kilts is because Christopher is English and I am Scottish ) The minister was superb and kept us all calm through our vows and made it serious but light hearted. The best bit was when he said I pronounce you husband and wife and we got to kiss. At that point we totally relaxed and signed the register and the oh my god the photographs started. I have bever been photographed so much in all my life but I totally loved it.
We walked back out and into the hotel garden for what seemed like 500 pictures. The photographer was just amazing. I really cant wait to seee the professional photos.
I will carry on a little later. Its making me sad writing about this because its all been and gone.
