Default Just Celebrated.......
our 1st Anniversary, I cannot believe how time has flown this last year. Had a very surreal moment on Saturday as we were going away I got up the same time as I did on our wedding day and for the first hour did exactly the same things ie shower, pack it felt so weird.

We went to the lake district for 3 nights, and it was lovely, we stayed in the same hotel and same room as we did for our honeymoon. The room has a 4 poster and 2 baywindows to die for.
After not getting any flowers at work on the Friday I was slightly peeved, only to check in our room on saturday and there was a big bunch and champagne waiting.
Saturday we went into Bowness did a boatcruise to ambleside came back had dinner and lots to drink, Sunday we exchanged cards, and gifts. Brian bought me some d ecleor products and I bought him tickets to the motorshow on saturday and race tickets for Silverstone classic car races on the 29th.

Drove into Ullswater and then down to Coniston which was lovely, came back on the car ferry to windermere and went for a swim, then went out to the most fantastic restaurant , the chef has a michelin star and food is to die for .

So now into 2nd year of marriage

I can't believe it's a year since your wedding where does time go? Happy Anniversary to you both. The break sounds lovely I love Bowness it's my favourite place in the Lakes along with Surprise View

Aww, congratulations! Your celebratory break sounds wonderful too. Glad you had such a nice time.

We've just celebrated our 2nd anniversary too - it's amazing how quickly time goes, I reckon it's going to go faster each year!!
