Talking Are you living with a Groomzilla?

Hi Guys,

Me again - begging for your help once more.

We've all heard the term 'bridezilla' - I know that when I was planning my own wedding I experienced 'bridezilla' moments where I would give my poor fiancé (now hubbie so I couldn't have been that bad!) such a hard time because I just didn't think he understood me and what I wanted to achieve for our big day. However, I am wondering whether you're experiencing this sort of behaviour from your fiancé.

I'm looking for real-life stories about 'Groomzillas'. Basically, is your fiancé taking over the wedding plans? He is being demanding about certain aspects of the day? Are you feeling overwhelmed by his enthusiasm towards the wedding planning?

If so then I would love to hear your stories.

Either drop me a line here or get in touch at my usual e-mail address - sabrinaatherton@giraffe-media.co.uk.

Thanks ever so much - I hope to hearing your 'Groomzilla' stories soon.

Best wishes,
Beeny x

Ooooh I had one of them last time. It was never really my day I was just there to make up the numbers so he could have his wedding day. In fact before the day I actually asked him did he not want to wear a white dress so he could truly be the star of the day

I have an unbelievable story about how he really wanted his two nieces to be b/maids so much even though it was really difficult and it ended up costing more for them to be b/maids than it did for my whole outfit! I don't know if I'd be any good as we're not together - unsurprisingly but I'll tell you the story if it would be of any use to you.

Ang!!! I would love to hear more if you're happy to share.

Don't worry, J, I think everyone has moments when they want to scream during the run up to such a big day whether you are the bride or a groom. Would you mind sharing one or two of your 'aaargh!!' moments because it would be great to get a groom's prespective regarding wedding planning? I can change your name so no-one will ever know.

To be quite honest, I don't know how my hubbie coped with me - I was a right mare at times!!!
