What the?? I'm going to say something, and before anyone thinks I'm getting the boot into young brides, I'm not....
...but how in the name of goodness can you get the money to buy a 25,000 quid dress when you've been working for 30 years, never mind when you're TWENTY??? Are they drug dealers?? A 40 tier cake? WHY????
And the last record holder was 16 - how much did her dress cost??
Good Lord, I'm getting old or something, but that's just outrageous! I think I need a lie down and a cold flannel.

i think that dress was horrid! how can she enjoy her special day if she's got that thing to lug around with her. and what will she do with a forty tier cake. surely they cant eat it all and it wouldn't be any good keeping it. i just keep trying to imagine the grooms face when he saw her waddling up the aisle in that

I bet she got the dress for free - It's probably on loan from the makers who thought it would be great publicity for them...!
And how on earth did she go to the loo in it???

Could they be travellers? I read about their weddings a while back, and they tend to be young, have hundreds of guests, and spend a lot on their weddings.

You're right Nic, they are travellers and so was the 16 year old a few weeks back. You can tell by the surnames, I recognised it as a well known "traveller name" in Ireland. I'd love to know how they get the money for these things too!

Now you see if my dad was here he'd be telling us if they were pikeys, gypo's or diddicots...he seems to be a specialist on the travellers.
Gorgeous dress love, puts Jordan to shame doesnt it!

 Oh my god!!!!
I read about the previous girl Carly O'Brien in a magazine and i have to say that the first word that sprang to mind after looking at the piccies was 'pikeys'! Look at them! They just have to be!!!
Apologies for being very un-PC! (God, if my boss heard me say that i would probably get the sack. We do quite a bit of work with the 'travelling community'. lol)
I just dont understand why these girls think its a good idea! They must get knackered just walking a few feet with that thing on. I read that the other girl, Carly, had to be pushed down the aisle by her guests as she wouldn't fit. How dignified!!!!
