Lightbulb Wedding cars

Well we had quite a productive weekend. Chris's mum remembered that her school have a Christmas postbox, that might be suitable as a post box for us (we shall see.....) and she managed to wangle our main wedding car (new style lime green beetle) for a bottle of wine. It's owned by a colleague of hers and apparently she's well chuffed about it all!

Now we just have to work out what to have as a second car....... what goes with a lime green beetle.....?

My silver beetle?

But seriously, what colour are you bridesmaids? This may help with your choice of car?

Navy, turquoise and gold. I'm just looking and looking and I think it can only be a normal car or a beetle......

How many bridesmaids do you have? Because you can only fit two people in the back of a Beetle. I'm thinking that you should go for another beetle because it will tie in with your theme, and you may even be able to get someone to drive/lend it for free which is always a good help!

A white beetle could work well

Sounds like you've been making progress. Its always nice to get another thing sorted out.

Perhaps a silver or white/cream beetle would work.

I thin silver too, and it's not just because I've got one! I think that silver goies with most colours, so it should look good with your colour scheme. I would offer to lend you my beetle, but I think I have a wedding that weekend too.

Right we're almost decided - the green one and a beetle cabriolet in Harvest Moon - the green is the gecko green
http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new_cars...abriolet/paint

It's gonna cost £400 in total, but that's half what it would have done. Dad's offered to drive his silver mondeo, but he's been moaning about it and finding every problem under the sun, so I think perhaps we'll leave that!!

What do you think - is it worth paying or should we take the cheap option? I just need to check I'm not living in cloud cuckoo land......
