Question Cost of flowers.....

Can I be really cheeky and ask roughly what you guys are paying for flowers - I got the quote in yesterday from my florist and it seems quite reasonable, but having never done this before (and my friend refusing to discuss the cost of her flowers with me ) I don't know if I should go ahead......

My bouquet (hand tied roses, no foliage) £60
Bridesmaids (small hand tied with roses and small blue flowers ???) £35 each x 4
Flower Girl (very small version of mine) £20
30 single cream roses for place settings £30
Pedestal arrangement £50
Groom buttonhole (rose with fern and gold coils) £4.00
Gents buttonhole (rose with ivy) £3.00 x 5
Mothers Corsages £6 x 2

I think it seems really quite fair........any views?

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

well u get what u pay for, so lets just hope theyre ok... not much of a bargain if they look crap. Saying that, weve had arrangements from this lady in the past for b'days and stuff and theyve always been gorgeous.

That sounds reasonable enough.

I can't say how much mine are costing as I haven't got a clue! My mum and dad are dealing with everything, so I am not down on the prices of things, lol But it does sound reasonable enough to me.

My flowers consist of 3 bouquets of hand tied flowers at present (have not arranged the rest) and these are costing me £60.
