I'm going to pick my dress up in an hour!!!
YIPPEEEE!!!!
Am so excited... cant wait to get it back here... well to mums house.
Am going for my final fitting, with veil, tiara the lot... so will try and take some piccies and post them on here when i get back!!!

Yes, I;m back!!!! And it is sooo gorgeous! It actually looks better on the hanger than it does on me, but hey, i'm lumpy, and H2B doesnt care! lol
Ive been poked and prodded and had my boobs realigned, i cant stand fuss, much more a jeans and trainers girl. So i felt a bit daft stood there in a big white frock while everyone ooohed and aaahed.... still, you only do it once i guess (if ur lucky!)
Anyway, mum has taken it to her house, and dad said he will take some piccies for me later. Couldnt do it while I was wearing it coz his camera batteries went flat (dads eh?)
So... watch this space!!!

I'm off for my first fitting tomorrow... very excited!! but i bet its nowhere near as exciting as walking out of the shop with your dress.
How do you carry it all by the way?
Where are you going to hang your dresses to keep them safe, uncreased and out of view?

I think mine's going to live in Mum's wardrobe (Matt wouldn't go looking in there!) If not there then possibly at my friends house!
3 weeks & a bit until I get my first fitting... I can't wait!  I'm really looking forward to walking out of the shop with it!

Mine is going to live at our house in a spare bedroom. Will hang it from a wardrobe and cover it.
Question: What are you covering your dress with until you wear it? I have heard that a plastic suit cover type thing is not good?
Dress wont be ready until Oct, then fittings so it will probably be hanging about at my house for about 5-6 months before our wedding and want to make sure I look after it correctly!

The shop should store your dress for you until the very last possible moment.
As you say, you dont want it to become damaged by not looking after it properly!!
You should aim to pick it up about 1 week before the wedding.
