Oxford Street lingerie shopping - Wedding Forum

Right, I'm off lingerie shopping on Saturday with my mum to Oxford Street. Other than the department stores are there any other lingerie shops on Oxford Street? I know it reasonably well but have avoided it since Bluewater opened, so i'm not sure whats there. Bluewater has so far been unfruitful for lingerie shopping.

Also had to add - I feel like I have got my life back! I handed my MSc Dissertation in yesterday. I started it this time last year just before we got engaged and it has been hanging round my neck sucking up all my free time and making me depressed ( I work full time too, and I'm addicted to MGW) and now it is all over!! So "operation sort this wedding out there is less than 4 months" is on!

Well it might not be quite what you're looking for, but I believe I'm right in saying there's an Ann Summers just round the corner in Charing Cross Road... at least I know there used to be! And while not on Oxford St, it's not a long way to Agent Provocateur in Soho, for some really cuuuute undies! Have fun...

Rigby and Peller isn't too far away (just off Old Bond Street) but it will depend how much you want to spend.

I went with my MOH and am so glad that I did (found out I've been wearing the wrong bra for the past XX years! and since I've changed it's amazing how much better I feel!) I think their bras start at £40.

If you have any dress material swatches or a picture of your dress they will recommend a style of bra to go underneath (e.g. not too patterned if very tight fitting, strap sizes etc.)

Thanks Karen, hopefully I'll have another aisle to walk down in the autumn - for my graduation ceremony. I got my first degree from Kent so we graduated in Canterbury cathedral - a very, very long aisle. This one is from South Bank and I don't know where we do the ceremony - anyone? it's probably in the dining hall knowing how totally disinterested the place is in it's students.
