Default just over 3 months to go!!!

And we are having a mare having written all the invites and given our new house address , we do not now have a completion date and am not sure weher it will be another 2 or 4 weeks!! so the question is should we hold the invites until we move or re do them all using glenn's parents home address so they can be sent on May 10th?? Considering it is a Friday in August??

What do you think??

I think what Bron says. A note in just asking them to send them to Glenn's parents. It saves re-doing them and if before you send them you find yourselves with a completion date you haven't re-done a whole new load of invites for nothing. Can't believe it's coming round so quickly

I also like Bron's suggestion - saves loads of hassle and people will understand the situation you are in too. Hope you get your completion date soon.

Another one agreeing with Bron. My big day was on a Friday and we sent 'save the date' cards so they could book it off work.

Oh not long now!!

I'd send them to the parents. You don't have to wait as long then for replies. I loved that bit.

In fact... I'm going to dig my wedding box out of the loft.

Slips sound good, and then email round people you have addresses for just to let them know to 'save the date' x

Oh Clare, it's coming round so fast now

A slip with a brief explanation and the folks address sounds perfect and still gives people plenty of notice rather than waiting for either new invites or a completion date.

How is all the planning coming together?

It does feel totally different in the run-up to the big day when you know you're marrying the right person
