Default Hmmmm

There is more deleted spam on this page than there are genuine wedding posts.

SOMEBODY tell me something real about a wedding, please

Or at least, some spammers come along so Di can bollock you and J can change your name to something funny.

Maybe we could pretend we're planning a wedding...

I stopped talking weddings on here a long time ago. New people join but never stay but then all they see is a very under used section of the site so don't bother hanging around. It's six and half a dozen really. Not enough regulars bother with the wedding bit but not enough newbies bother venturing out of it to see what else is on offer. If they did more posts elsewhere people would get to know them and might look in weddings more to be part of their plans. But they probably think as weddings is so quiet there's no point looking anywhere else and so leave. It's an almost completely dead section of the site which is a shame really for what started as a wedding site

I've often said My Groovy Lifestyle or something would be a better name these days.

Personally I'd love to see the wedding bit get some use and am as guilty as anyone for not using it but in all honesty I've given up talking weddings with people who just aren't in the same frame of mind anymore. That's not a dig at anyone at all it's just people move on and weddings are only the be all and end all when you're planning one. Once you're not they can be a bit boring.

It's quite disheartening to see people you consider friends seemingly ignoring your wedding news when the reality is they probably haven't even seen it to ignore it cos they just don't think to look in weddings. If they did they'd be the first to reply so it's nothing deliberate just the way it is.
