I like the crocodile clip card holders you can buy (or make yourself). I\'ve seen plant pots, and candle holders and flags stuck in sweets - are you having favours? Could you tie/ write something on these?......HTH

Hi

I saw in a magazine when someone used stones as there place cards.

You just need to but a bag of stones from a garden centre and paint peopls names on them.

Sounds good I think. I thought about it but am using stones in my table decoartions so It might be to much if i made the place cards from stone as well.

Because we\'re having a travel/holiday theme, I\'m going to be doing something along that vein. Was thinking of making mini-suitcases with peoples names on, or making a travel tag to tie around the napkins with ribbon. We\'ll just have to see where my creative side takes me too :lol::lol:

We\'re a bit unsure about this - although we\'re placing people at certain tables, we weren\'t going to bother telling peopl that they had to sit exactly where we put them, I just don\'t like the idea, but we\'ll see nearer the time.

But we were thinking of having wedding crackers and you can order them with matching name tags to use as place settings. I think they look fab myself, but our first choice porbably would have been the stones, they look excellent. One woman here bought cheap plain shot glasses filled them with water and then had a calligrapher paint the guests names on them and placed them in the glass. Doubled as favours too. :)

Totally Crackers

How many people are sitting down? We are only having 26 to sit down and our place cards are going to be polariods of those people arriving!
