Hi,

We\'re having either a chilled med. tomato soup (they are gorgeous), or we\'re going for smoked salmon with a splodge of caviar.

My favourite was a wild mushroom dish, but I keep coming across people who don\'t like mushrooms... very strange..

I\'m obviously a little disorganised here - we haven\'t chosen our menus yet!

Hello,

Don\'t know what we\'re having yet but I can guarantee their won\'t be as many choices as you have. (And a good thing too! No good at making decisions!)

Hi

We\'re having a choice of two starters

Chicken in Tarragon for main and a choice of two desserts

Then coffee.

It\'s quite good as you can decide on the day which starter and which dessert you want.

Our hotel was really easy to do - they gave us a choice of main courses in 3 different price bands, and then a list of starters, soups, and desserts. Only your choice of main course affects the price, everything else is standard. :)

We haven\'t completely decided but we\'re thinking of Cream of Spinach with Roasted Almonds or Roasted Red Pepper and Tomatoe with fresh basil for the soups. And then either Peppered Goats Cheese in Filo on seasonal Leaves with Honey Cider Dressing or Chargrilled Chicken Fillets on Oriental Vegatables and Thai vinaigrette. But that depends on how they work out the veggie menus and stuff. :)

Pretty much decided on Braised Leg of Lamb Steak with fine garden vegetables and Pork Wine sauce for the main (not for us veggies obviously though ;)). Dessert at the moment is Mille Feuille of Orange Scented Sponge and Puff Pastry with Vanilla Cream and Red Berry Compote, but also tempted by the Iced Chocolate Parfait in a bitter Chocolate Cup and Raspberry Coulis. Mmmmmm, I\'m getting hungry now.

I think thats pretty good for £22.50!
